Location
Agios Georgios is a coastal settlement in the southwestern part of Antiparos, just opposite the island of Despotiko. It is located about 11.5 km. southwest of Chora Antiparos.
The impressive sea caves southeast of the settlement, which the locals call "Epitaph", and the islet of Despotiko, opposite the settlement, with its important archaeological site, stand out in the area. Also, the island of Tsimintiri with its archaeological findings, in the natural harbour between the settlement and the island of Despotiko, as well as the beaches that are located along the entire coastal front of the settlement. The most important ones are the three successive coves of the beach "Kako Rema" and the so-called "Aghios Georgios Plaza" on the beach "Vathis Volos".
